The Whole Family Will Be Given The Free Gift of Eternal Life,

Unfortunately some people have had disappointing experiences with Christians and/or churches that have left them with a negative impression of both. They may have always looked at Christians as being hypocrites and God as being judgmental and unloving. They may have picked this attitude up from friends, family or their own life experience. The Bible urges us not to be discouraged by these disappointments – it tells us that neither people nor life are perfect. We will all make mistakes and the consequences of those mistakes can cause hurt and offence.

What we can promise you is that God understands your hurts, your disappointments and your frustrations. He absolutely loves you and has a purpose for your life!

“ Lord, thank you for loving me and coming to earth to show us the way. I believe you died to pay for my sin and You were raised from the dead to give me eternal life. I want to turn from my sin and place my faith in you right now. Please come into my life and be my Saviour and Lord. Show me how to live and help me follow you always.
In Your name I pray. Amen”

Why water baptism?

Water baptism is the outward acknowledgement that Jesus died, was buried and rose again. Now you live as God intended, through the resurrected power of God in us. Water baptism is not merely a form of meaningless religious ceremony. It is tremendously powerful and something every believer needs to submit to. We see that Jesus did not tell his disciples to make members, he told them to make disciples. A disciple is a pupil, and a follower. The outward evidence of following Jesus is baptism.

When a person is baptised they are identifying with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. It is an outward demonstration of what has already taken place inwardly.

Baptism depicts what happens as a result of the Christian’s union with Christ.

  • When you go into the water – it symbolises Jesus on the cross.
  • When you go under the water it symbolises Jesus death on the cross.
  • When he died, you die to the dominating power of the old self-life.
  • When you come up out of the water, it symbolises Jesus resurrected life.

Water Baptism is like a burial. You now walk in newness of life. The old life has been left behind or has been buried as you rise from the waters of baptism.
